‘Proud Of Ma Roots’ is a song about being proud of who you are and appreciating your culture. It’s about respecting and acknowledging those who have laid the foundations for us to succeed, as with our  “roots” we can grow within this life. For me, this song celebrates my culture and I feel the lyrics are relatable to me and to the listeners’.
